Accommodation in the United Kingdom
You should be very careful considering, where to live in the UK. Especially, if you want to stay there for longer. It is not really comfortable to move from place to place, sometimes even several times.
While deciding about the accommodation, you should take into account particularly the distance from:
- public transport (above all the London Underground)
- your workplace
- public services (shops, doctor’s, restaurants, etc.)
Most importantly, everybody who is travelling to London or majority of other British cities, should realise that prices of accommodation for living space differ a lot from the Czech standard. For example, the price you would normally pay in Prague for 2+1 or 4+1 flat in a smaller Czech town, would be equal to a place, or better two places in a room
This chapter gives general information about accommodation, respectively cheap accommodation in London. Concurrently, you can also get to know how to look for accommodation.
